From Lagu comes great "Proudly Filipino" beach towels that at the same time help raising awareness of the fact that every time we step foot on a beach, we leave with several handfuls of sand. Counting all the people coming and going, that is a lot of sand. I honestly don't know exactly how these towels will prevent my kids from leaving the beach with their hair full of sand and buckets and shovels as well, but being aware of it, might help me to brush them off one extra time. With the towel I'll be constantly reminded, and as they also look and feel great, I now want one of every color.
