Bambike

Bambike is a socio-ecological enterprise with the goal "to do better business and to make the greenest bikes on the planet", by hand-making bamboo bicycles with fair-trade labor and sustainable building practices. And, actually, even US president Barack Obama's got one! A gift from the Filipino ambassador and his wife. Wish I could afford one as well... or the baby stroller on the photo below - if I still'd had a baby... Anyway, I think any company that tries to promote eco-friendly production and transportation in Manila, at the same time, are worth supporting.
